Fortress Homes was founded in 2004 to
fill a niche that was missing in the Wisconsin Homebuilding
market.
Founder and President Roger Volden, was
so confident in the technology and advantages of an Insulated
Concrete Form (ICF) home that the first home he build was for
himself.
Roger who is regional marketing manager
for Holcim (US) Inc. one of the world's largest cement
manufacturer's, knows concrete, but also has a background in
conventional wood-framed homes. After researching ICF
homes he says using concrete for exterior walls is "a solid,
sound, and efficient way to build." |
